Большое воздействие на экономическую обстановку в регионе, в стране, в мире, на конкурентоспособность субъектов Федерации оказывает демографическая ситуация. Для регионов России характерна высокая дифференциация по статистическим показателям миграционного прироста, возникают различия в уровнях естественного прироста.  Данный  факт  обоснован  неравным  уровнем  социально-экономического развития  каждого  конкретного  субъекта.  В  статье  проанализированы  актуальные проблемы  народосбережения  в  Республике  Калмыкия,  представлены  результаты социологического опроса населения региона.

The demographic situation has a great impact on the economic situation in the region, in the country, in the world, on the competitiveness of the subjects of the Federation. The regions of Russia are characterized by a high differentiation in terms of statistical indicators of migration growth, as well as differences in the levels of natural growth. This fact is justified by the unequal level of socio-economic development of each specific subject. The article analyzes the current problems of conservation in the Republic of Kalmykia and presents the results of a sociological survey of the region’s population.
